Xinhua News Agency reported: China International Furniture Fair (Guangzhou) serves as a vital bridge connecting Chinese furniture manufacturing with the global market, closely integrating supply and demand to form an innovative ecosystem, giving birth to more new products, new designs, new technologies, and even new industries. Especially in the areas of smart manufacturing and high-end manufacturing, the China International Furniture Fair (Guangzhou) has set a new benchmark for the coordinated development of the entire home industry chain.
This edition of the Civil Furniture Exhibition has prominently featured the China International Furniture Fair · Contemporary Design Exhibition, bringing together numerous design brands and design celebrities with pioneering and innovative spirits to showcase the “n” possibilities of design.
At the same time, focusing on home space, dining space, outdoor leisure space, soft furnishing art aesthetics, and other themes to create high-quality design highlights, presenting trendy living through design language, and jointly interpreting diverse lifestyles.
This edition of the Furniture Fair also grandly launched the first domestic design professional award covering the entire home industry chain – the “Huazuan Award”, with the concept of “Seeking Good Design”, aiming to highlight the important role of creative design in achieving a better life. During the Civil Furniture Exhibition, the “2024 China International Furniture Fair (Guangzhou) Huazuan Award Ceremony – Civil Furniture Exhibition Special” was held, along with the Home Design Trend Forum, discussing new trends in home design with domestic and foreign designers, key brands, and media guests from the industry.
In line with the trend of consumption upgrading, this edition of the Civil Furniture Exhibition actively laid out new themes such as smart sleep, smart home, and aging-friendly home, further enriching new formats, creating a new track for leading soft home furnishings, and promoting innovative development in home “intelligence” and “aging-friendliness”.
This edition of the Civil Furniture Exhibition has focused on trend releases, design displays, and other directions to create a series of theme exhibitions under the China International Furniture Fair · Contemporary Design Exhibition, CMF Trend LAB, Firefly Museum, China Smart Sleep Exhibition, China Functional/Smart Sofa Exhibition, 2024 (Spring) China Soft Furnishing Conference, OK Life Exhibition, “Unconventional” Life Aesthetics Exhibition, and more than ten other theme exhibitions. On-site, there were four major special forums including “Design Exchange Sounding Field”, “Industry Elite Forum”, “Cross-Border Hero Gathering”, and “Industry Premiere Field”, as well as a series of industry forums, providing an efficient communication platform for the home industry and leading the industry with new ideological trends for high-quality development.
As a crucial link between Chinese furniture manufacturing and the global market, this edition of the Civil Furniture Exhibition welcomed a gathering of global exhibitors and merchants. The exhibition halls were bustling with people, and the booths were crowded. Exhibitors were busy receiving waves of guests, promoting new products, and conducting negotiations; while domestic and foreign visitors, amidst their purchases, navigated between a wide array of new product displays and colorful design activities, coming with enthusiasm and leaving with satisfaction.
To further promote green and low-carbon development and practice the concept of “Green mountains and clear waters are golden and silver mountains”, this edition of the China International Furniture Fair (Guangzhou) advocated for “Green Exhibition” through practical actions, implementing green booth construction, green participation, green dismantling, green promotion, and other measures, unlocking a new path for green exhibition management.
In the process of advocating for green booth construction at the China International Furniture Fair (Guangzhou), the “Unconventional” Outdoor Theme Exhibition mainly used environmentally friendly materials such as Dulux wall paint and green plants for booth construction, with many materials being recyclable after dismantling. The screens of the main tower installation, reflective mirror materials, and screens in the salon area will all be recycled after the exhibition. We have always adhered to the concept of sustainable environmental protection, focusing on “green environmental protection and upward growth”. Through this outdoor theme exhibition, we presented a vibrant scene, in line with the theme of “prosperity” for the outdoor pavilion.
VINEKO General Manager Luo Xingrong stated that the key focus of green booth construction is recyclability, meaning that materials can be reused repeatedly. For this exhibition, VINEKO used mostly recyclable aluminum alloy for booth construction, and environmentally friendly paint for wall surfaces. The on-site green plants are also real plants, which will continue to be recycled and used after the event.
